National Solar Tour: Solar Home Design

Sign up today to take part in the FREE guided solar home tour in the Conejo Valley, California, on Saturday, October 3, 2009.

Solar Electrical Systems is taking part in the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour.  Participants can enjoy touring five homes that are solar-powered from 10:30 to 1:30 that day.  The experience will be unlike anything else!  Talk to the property owners, find out what they have done to live green, and also hear about their reduced utility bills.

You’ll probably come away inspired to incorporate solar home design at your own abode.

According to the PR Newswire:

“The National Solar Tour is the world’s largest grassroots solar event. With solar costs recently dropping 30-40%, families and businesses are discovering that solar is a great investment now. The new 30% Residential Federal Tax Credit allows homeowners to capture stimulus money before the end of the year, along with utility rebates and other incentives that can save them up to 70% of a system’s cost.”

With tax rebates and incentives, increased home value from renewable energy installations, and lower solar panel prices, there is no time like the present to learn about solar home design options.

To take part in the Conejo Valley Solar Home Tour, contact Solar Electrical Systems in Westlake Village at 805-497-9808, or e-mail rsvp@solarelectricalsystems.com today.  Don’t delay…. Limited space is available!
